My name is Denise and I have been knitting since I was five years old. I love to knit, and I've knit just about everything (except socks).
I knit my first Bailee Doll in December of 2025, and I instantly fell in love with her. I loved her so much, I named her after my granddaughter. I didn't want to stop with just one doll, so I knit one for my granddaughter and then I knit another one for myself. I've knit 20 dolls since then and I haven't grown tired of her yet!
She is hand-knit using 100% acrylic yarn, 100% polyester stuffing and safety eyes. She stands approximately 13" tall. Her clothing is removable, but I would not recommend it (too much tugging and pulling could deform/flatten the stuffing).
It takes me about 4-5 days to knit one Bailee Doll. What you don't see in the photos is how much love and care goes into knitting each doll. The dolls are stored in mesh bags in my non-smoking home while they await their new home. I hope The Bailee Doll brings as much happiness to you as she does to me!
